Absolute beginners who want to build muscle but don't know where to start
Those who feel intimidated by gym equipment and want structured guidance
People who have tried lifting before but never learned proper form
Anyone looking to build a solid foundation before advancing to more complex programs
Those who want to gain confidence in the gym through systematic learning
Many beginners jump into advanced programs without mastering the basics. They chase heavy weights before understanding movement patterns, leading to poor results and potential injury.
Muscle Lab Intro was designed to solve this problem. It's a structured introduction to bodybuilding that teaches you how to train, not just what exercises to do. Every session builds on the previous one, creating a foundation that will serve you for years.
By the end of this program, you'll understand proper form on all major compound movements, know how to feel your muscles working, and have the confidence to train effectively in any gym.
This program follows a 5-week progressive structure designed for absolute beginners.
Phase 1 (Weeks 1-2) is your Technique Foundation. You'll learn all the fundamental movements with lighter loads, focusing on proper form, breathing patterns, and muscle activation. Each session introduces key compound and accessory exercises.
Phase 2 (Weeks 3-4) is Volume Building. With your technique established, you'll add sets and increase intensity. This is where real muscle-building stimulus begins.
Phase 3 (Week 5) is Application. You'll execute the full program with confidence, applying progressive overload principles you've learned throughout the program.
This program prioritizes technique over weight. In Weeks 1-2, use lighter loads that feel almost easy. Your focus should be on feeling the target muscle work, not on lifting heavy.
As you progress to Weeks 3-5, you'll gradually add volume and intensity. Only increase weight when you can complete all reps with perfect form for two consecutive sessions.
Rest periods matter: take 90-120 seconds between compound movements (bench, squat, row) and 60-90 seconds for isolation exercises. This ensures proper recovery for quality reps.
Soreness after workouts is normal, especially in the first two weeks. Sharp pain during a movement is not. Know the difference and adjust accordingly.

I'm Zane.
I specialize in bodybuilding, hypertrophy, and aesthetic physique development. I design programs that build muscle, sculpt definition, and create the physique you've always wanted. From calisthenics to weight training, from beginners to advanced lifters, my methods focus on muscle activation, strict form, and progressive overload.
No shortcuts. No excuses. Every rep should be controlled, every set should have purpose. I emphasize strict form and muscle activation because that's how you build real muscle—not by swinging weights around, but by making every fiber work. My programs range from bodyweight mastery to full gym hypertrophy splits, but the principle stays the same: control the weight, feel the muscle, grow.
I expect commitment. I expect you to show up and do the work even when you don't feel like it. But here's what I also know: you're capable of more than you think. When you push through the discomfort, when you complete that last rep you didn't think you could do, that's when transformation happens. You're here to build something. Let's work.
