Starting Position
1. Lie back on an incline bench set to about 30 to 45 degrees.
2. Hold a barbell with an overhand grip at shoulder-width and extend your arms straight up.
3. Angle your arms slightly back toward your head to keep tension on your triceps.
During the Exercise
1. Keeping your upper arms stationary, slowly bend your elbows to lower the barbell toward your forehead or just behind your head.
2. Use your triceps to extend your arms and push the barbell back to the starting position.
Breathing Tips
Inhale as you lower the barbell, and exhale as you push it back up.
