Starting Position
1. Stand in front of the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Grip the cable bar with both hands slightly wider than shoulder width.
3. Slightly bend your knees and lean your upper body forward at about 45 degrees. Keep your back straight and chest up throughout the movement.
During Exercise
1. Pull the bar down while focusing on engaging your lats. Keep your arms strong to prevent excessive elbow bending, and squeeze your back muscles by imagining pressing your triceps against your lats.
2. Maintaining tension in your lats and keeping your chest up, slowly return to the starting position.
Breathing
Exhale as you pull the bar down, and inhale as you return to the starting position.
